SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

In this role, you’ll be:

  • Acquire digital data in a forensically sound manner from virtual and physical assets
  • Forensically analyze systems (e.g. laptops, desktops, servers, cloud environments, containers) to support internal investigations
  • Acquire volatile data from cloud and physical assets
  • Malware forensic analysis of systems to find potential indicators of compromise (IOC)
  • Automate the forensic collection and process of main computer artifacts 
  • Implement and operate a secure and controlled environment to analyze malware
  • Work with various organizations to communicate findings, observations and recommendations to contain and remediate security incidents
  • Document and communicate finding reports and post-mortems as appropriate
  • Implement automation and orchestration to streamline and improve existing processes 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE…

  • Computer and Cloud Forensics
  • Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) 
  • Knowledge of anti-forensics tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Knowledge of OS X, Windows, Linux/Unix based operating systems
  • Knowledge of concepts, techniques, procedures and tools to preserve digital data in a forensically sound manner
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to the forensic collection and or processing of evidence data
  • Ability to forensically acquire data from various operating systems (OSX, Windows, Linux, Unix)
  • Knowledge of forensic tools (e.g. FTK, Cellebrite, Guymager, dc3dd, etc)
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) and SIEM
  • Collection, processing and analysis of volatile and non-volatile data from cloud and physical assets
  • Ability to process digital evidence in a forensically sound manner to ensure admissibility in a court of law
  • Knowledge of malware analysis open source tools (e.g. Kali Linux, etc)
  • Ability to forensically analyze malware from and on Windows, OSX, Linux and or Unix
  • Network analysis and forensics
  • Ability to automate processes using a preferred language (e.g. Python)
  • Ability to analyze operational issues and develop plans of action to improve the quality of the services offered
  • Ability to build customer relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Collaborates and works well with others
  • Ability to take initiative and complete tasks without supervision
