Job Description

This hands-on Analyst position-based India will be part of the Cybersecurity Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team with a dual reporting line to the Head of GRC for Cybersecurity in Europe and the Assurance Director in Bangalore. This position forms part of a new capability focused on Cybersecurity Technology Governance globally – with the goal of ensuring that security risk is appropriately managed from Technology onboarding through its full lifecycle inclusive of End of Life and Decommissioning. Technology in this context includes as the System, Storage, Networking, Database, Middleware, and tooling Hardware and any Software used to provide and support Visa Products and Services as well as Visa’s infrastructure and operations.

The role will be responsible for working closely with representatives from Global teams in forming the Cyber Technology Governance workstream within Visa Inc. The incumbent will work closely on implementation activities that support the Cyber Technology Governance objectives.

This will involve extensive interaction with global stakeholders across Cybersecurity and Visa Technology teams.

The role will also be required to support on broader GRC initiatives such taking direction from different functional leads as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in developing and maintaining the Cybersecurity Technology Governance strategy and processes working with stakeholders from across Cybersecurity and Technology teams

  • Support in the delivery of Cybersecurity processes within the context of Technology Governance – for example setting up and driving governance around formal Cybersecurity risk assessment and a formalized Cyber focused approval processes for newly registered Technologies

  • Develop, monitor, report, escalate and remediate Cyber Tech Governance related issues.

  • Create, monitor data points generating monthly, quarterly dashboards, metrics, and reporting – support in specification and development of such reports.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
• 4-7 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration or another related field
• Familiar with the principles of Asset Lifecycle Management, Secure Software Development and Technology / Cybersecurity Governance.
• Work experience preferably gained in a large global financial institution or a matrix organization
• Proactive and able to synthesise a variety of data points, problem solve, and formulate comprehensive and effective execution and risk mitigation plans
• Demonstrate broad security and IT Delivery knowledge across common industry policy bodies. These may include ITIL, ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, PCI, FFIEC, SOX, SSAE16, and others
• Advanced MS Office skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Database
• Have a working knowledge in one of the Programming Languages like ASP.NET, Java, with hands-on scripting knowledge + use of reporting tools such as Tableau
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively.
• Ability to influence beyond immediate team and with those of more experience / seniority
