Essential Duties:This position reports to the Security Manager and will be performing a variety of duties in the implementation and maintenance of a complete industrial security program. Candidate will assist in the implementation of HRL’s security program to include but not limited to: assist with the creation of Standard Operating Procedures, produce badges, process and file security information, escort, support classified shipping, and conduct security briefings. Candidates will be trained and mentored to be proficient at performing all related duties. This position offers great opportunity for growth and development.
Required Skills:Self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Ability to plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Minimum of two years working in an industrial security role. Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or industrial security is required. Administrative experience is beneficial. Experience with the use and management of physical security (IDS, access control, cameras) systems. Experience with NISS, DISS, and SIMS databasesCompletion of DSS CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities. Required to have a working knowledge of the NISPOM and ICDs
Required Education:Associates degree with 2 years of experience or 3 years of related work experience Special Requirements: Must be a US CitizenMust have a current active Top Secret clearance with SCI
Compensation:The base salary range for this full-time position is $59,000 - $98,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only, and do not include potential bonus or benefits.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
