We are looking for a specialist for Firewall operations in our international campus networks.

Tasks:

• Commissioning of firewall solutions
• Operation and fault clearance of firewall systems
• Rollout of hardware and software changes in the LAN in the context of change management
• Deployment of firewall rule-sets
• Further development of standards for operation and support concepts
• Evaluation and further development of firewall product lines already in use.
• Participation on call duty
• Cooperation in the development of automations of firewall systems
• Programming in python using the existing development environment and the existing automation environment / tools
• Cooperation in the design of new solutions / further development of existing solutions
• Integration into an existing team of developers

Kwalifikacje

Profile:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in the operation of firewall systems in local, or comparable networks
• In-depth knowledge of firewall systems for segmenting local networks into security zones
• In-depth knowledge of LAN architectures
• Practical experience in operating and setting up local networks
• Basic knowledge in the areas of software development
• Ideally knowledge of Python 3.6+ and HTML/CSS
• Ideally knowledge in Python Django
• Ideally knowledge in using Git / GitLab and CI/CD
• Ideally knowledge in using software development environments like Visual Studio Code
• Knowledge in agile working methods
• Knowledge in creating web applications is desired
• Knowledge in network environment (especially firewalls) is desired
• Fluent in Business English, German is a plus
• Willingness to be on call
• Strong target and result orientation
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as consulting skills
• Enthusiasm for working in a high-performance, international and cross-functional team
• High level of creativity, pioneering spirit and implementation skills
• Good communication and cooperation skills, confident appearance, friendly and helpful
• University degree in information technology (or related area)
