Job Description

Job Summary:

Implementing and communicating risk and compliance policies and processes for all countries within AsiaPac.

Responsibilities

  • Update global Galaxy risk and compliance policies for Territory Risk Manager review.  
  • Update regional risk and compliance playbook for contracting and engagement acceptance for Territory Risk Manager review.
  • Maintain engagement acceptance system for questions related to engagement risk for Territory Risk Manager review while working with IT to update logic for the system.  
  • Update all global contract templates, including NDAs, Hold Harmless letters and Data Privacy Addendum for Territory Risk Manager review and work with Knowledge Management to oversee and maintain risk document library.
  • Cross collaborate with IT,  Information Security and L&D, as required to support the Galaxy risk function. 
  • Schedule and conduct quality review programs within the region.
  • Perform preventative controls and conduct monitoring and testing activities to detect noncompliance with laws, regulations and company policies (eg. Test expenses to identify potential bribery and corruption activities).
  • Monitor R&C training completion and follow up on late completion
  • Maintain a registry of individuals requiring tax credentials and verify annual compliance.  
  • Evaluate non-compliant taxpayers and maintain templates to manage their status.  
  • Support the Territory Risk Manager to ensure that team members work effectively and proactively with business teams and industry participants to advise and assist in the management of risk and compliance matters.

Skill set and Behaviours 

  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to learn industry compliance standards and regulations 
  • Strong computer and research skills; knowledge of Tax is highly preferred
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with and advise more senior leadership on key issues
