Tax Compliance Staff

Bollore Logistics is looking for a motivated Tax Compliance Specialist to be joining our Finance team. Being in the position you will assist on improving our procedures and ensure 100% compliance to the VAT rulings. You will also assist in the VAT Audit findings.

You will be assisted by the members of our other team (trucking, customer service, sales, procurement, billing team ….) to ensure operation excellency.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Ensures accuracy of the following details as indicated in the Supplier Sales Invoice (for purchase of goods) and Supplier Official Receipt (for purchase of services) received from Vendors.
• Ensures accuracy of the following details as indicated in the VAT Official Receipt and NON-VAT Acknowledgement Receipt issued to Clients.

Requirements

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• Must be a Bachelor graduate with a degree in BS Accountancy or equivalent.

• Must have attended at least one (1) training on latest tax developments

• Certified Public Accountant is an advantage but not required.

• Preferably at least one (1) year experience in the preparation of tax returns and attachments

• Experience in bookkeeping, financial audit, or tax compliance with an auditing firm is an advantage

• Exposure to freight-forwarding industry is an advantage

• Must have a basic understanding of Philippine Taxes - Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Taxes including Local Business Tax

• Proficient in using MS Office applications such as Excel and Word

• Able to work effectively and efficiently in a team

• Able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written

• Diligent and detail-oriented

• Willing to learn
