Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Identity and Access Management)

Motional is looking for a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Identity and Access Management) with a strong specialization in Okta to join our high-performing Enterprise Cybersecurity team. 

As our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IAM infrastructure, focusing on the Okta platform. This role requires extensive technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to meet organizational goals. We are creating autonomous vehicle technology at Motional; automation is in our blood. We hope you’ll bring a passion for automating IAM-related tasks to this role. What You'll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IAM infrastructure, focusing on the Okta platform.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop IAM solutions that meet those needs.
• Work closely with the Human Resources team to maintain employee data feed from Oracle HCM to Okta.
• Use your expertise across all IAM topics to configure, customize, and integrate Okta with various business applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain access policies and security controls to secure Motional’s data.
• Provide technical expertise and support to various teams in the organization on IAM-related matters.
• Ensure IAM-related compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in the development and execution of IAM-related testing, training, and documentation.
• Work as an escalation point for the global IT support team for anything related to IAM.

What We're Looking For

• At least five years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on the Okta platform.
• Strong technical expertise in Okta configuration, customization, and integration.
• Expert understanding of various IAM-related technologies such as SSO, MFA, SAML, SCIM, Directory Syncing, JIT, OAuth2, OIDC, identity and access provisioning life cycle, etc.  
• Hands-on experience with low code/no-code automation platforms like Okta Workflow.
• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). 
• Understanding of API integrations and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of security standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Professional, or Okta Technical Architect Certification are highly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines while simultaneously working on multiple projects
