IAM Security Network Technical Lead (Contractor Role)

Job Responsibilities

• Technical consultancy on network environments specifically in relation to Identity and Access management practices and controls.
• Working collaboratively with various engineering teams across the organisation to effectively define strategic IAM architecture
• Build, support and provide ongoing maintenance for custom feeds into an internal compliance database. 

Technical Skills

• Networking Fundamentals: Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewall technologies, VPNs, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Security Fundamentals: Knowledge of security concepts such as confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Knowledge of how to deploy and configure IDPS systems Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• Knowledge of how to use SIEM tools to monitor and analyse security events.
• Encryption Technologies: Knowledge of encryption algorithms and protocols such as AES, RSA, and SSL/TLS.
• Operating Systems: Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and their security features.
• Scripting and Automation: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or bash for automation tasks.
• Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge of security regulations and standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST.
