  • Manage the completion of internal and external assessments/audits, serving as primary liaison for the auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive annual IT security risk assessment process, from risk identification to measurement and mitigation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Security, Engineering, Compliance, and People teams to implement industry-leading IT controls across the organization.
  • Manage and disseminate IT related policies and procedures.
  • Manage and track findings (from risk assessments, audits, etc.) from identification to remediation.
  • Ability to right-size compliance programs to a fast-paced tech startup.
  • Translate regulations and compliance obligations into technical controls, and vice-versa.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience in IT risk and security compliance or audit
  • Proven success performing various risk assessments, (e.g., enterprise risk, security, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success automating controls monitoring techniques
  • Experience creating and managing policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
  • Passion for digging into the weeds, problem-solving, and building programs from the ground up
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently drive cross-functional projects forward
  • Proven track record of effective cross-functional project management and organizational skills
  • CISA certification or equivalent is required

Although not a requirement, bonus points if you have:

  • Security certifications such as CISSP
  • Understanding of crypto staking and/or governance
  • Had interactions with regulatory authorities and auditors
  • A technical/engineering background or mindset
  • Fintech or financial services industry experience
  • Been emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
