Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Contributes significantly to the design, test, development, and/or support of products, networks, and/or systems. Provides technical direction and leadership in the development of integrated system products. Decisions affect the overall success of the project and directly impact financial performance, image, schedules, and customer satisfaction. Scope of work encompasses multiple components, or a complex component, of a software product, network, or services solution. Defines, recommends, and implements alternatives and solutions which will achieve a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction. Leads professional teams and significant project planning activities, ensuring that development is completed in a timely and cost effective manner. Thoroughly understands and effectively executes processes and procedures and develops new approaches as appropriate. Ensures accurate and thorough documentation is maintained for the project.

    Objectives
    -Being able to properly create and position firewall rules within a firewall security policy
    -Being able to properly create and position firewall rules within a firewall NAT policy
    -Being able to troubleshoot any issues with newly created rules
    -Proficient in Juniper firewall architecture/operation.
    -Being able to properly create and position firewall rules within a firewall security policy

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proficient in Juniper Firewall and Architecture, Palo Alto skills, NAT Policy
- At least 5 years experience as firewall administrator with diverse functions as change management, change review, firewall auditing and FW operations
- Experience translating industry specific and regulatory requirements into best practices for FW rules review
At least 5 years experience and knowledge on next generation Firewall platforms, specially PaloAlto and Checkpoint
- Consulting security methodology and best practice for engaging with Clients and delivering projects desired
- Strong communications skills to lead discussion with a variety of teams
-Familiarity with common ports and systems such as web and database servers
- English: Fluent

-Wireless Controllers and APs (Motorola and MIST/Juniper)
-Switches
-Routers (Cisco, Viptela)
-Infoblox appliances
-Voice technology - cisco phones, skype, Microsoft Teams, audiocodes, SIP conversions, Genesys (IVR Call Center)
