Test Associate Senior Engineer - Bangalore
We are looking for a Test Engineer to perform testing and test automation of the SonicWall products. You will be developing the test cases for new features, new features testing, regression, performance, and longevity testing. Create test beds, troubleshoot the issues, discover bugs, debug, and analyze the causes, track using bug tracking tool and verify the fixes. Do test automation, redesign the test automation framework as needed, run the automated scripts for regression. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Work with engineering team to ensure all features have automated
•    Define, create and debug automated test cases using a variety of languages and frameworks 
•    Write automated functional tests to prove acceptance criteria have been met 
•    Enhance existing test frameworks to allow testing of new features
•    Develop test plans and test cases based on the marketing and design requirements for new features or update existing features as appropriate.
•    Validate the design and test new features, functionalities thoroughly providing thorough coverage to features testing.
•    Discover the bugs, file them using bug tracking tool, verify bugs after the fix and track the bug status.
•    Reproduce the customer reported bugs, verify the fix and convert it to test case.
•    Review test plans designed by the team and provide feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

•    Experience in testing Network Security or similar products.
•    Experience in designing the test cases based on requirement/functional specifications.
•    Experience in test automation using PYTHON or similar.
•    Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g. Postman, Swagger, Fiddler)
•    Knowledge of the computer Networking
•    Knowledge of AWS is an added advantage
•    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
•    Quick learner and flexible.
•    Possess good written and verbal communication skills. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

•    B.E./B.Tech. Computers, MCA/M.E./M.Tech Computers or the equivalent 
•    Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in the Software QA & automation
