We are hiring for a Security Engineer, preferably with cross domain experience, and strong programming/scripting experience. This is a permanent, full time position within a team to provide Network, Linux and Security support to enable Enterprise Cross Domain information transfer for an Intel Community program. These systems provide reliable data transfers between domains for general users and programs.   More about this role:
  • Understanding of structured and unstructured data types and data manipulation techniques via programming/scripting
  • Linux Systems Engineering / Administration (SA) working with virtual servers,
    physical servers, and associated technologies.
  • Support new design/architecture tasking as part of system modernization
    development efforts as requested.
  • Systems and Solutions architecture experience - from custom solutions design to implementation and operationalization
  • DevSecOps experience
  • Research and manipulate data elements (structured and unstructured data)
  • Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government
    information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal
    verification methods.
  • Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance
    measures. 
  • Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
  • Work individually and actively participate on integrated teams
  • Need to understand how files move across the network
  • Collect complex technical requirements to design and build custom data transfer solutions from low to high environment
  • Perform security engineering duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • 4-6 years administering Linux-based platforms
  • Experience architecting and developing custom scalable solutions
  • Working knowledge of data types (structured and unstructured)
  • Working knowledge of APIs
  • Security engineering experience in the DOD/Intel community
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information
    Systems, Computer Science)
  • DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
