The Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC) Product Management team is a global function responsible for achieving market dominance in our target markets of Audit, Risk, Compliance and InfoSec. We are responsible for defining and executing on both the short and long-term product strategy in close partnership with our ‘triad’ partners Engineering and UX. We work across every team in Diligent along with customers and partners to develop unrivalled knowledge on the needs of both of existing users and the market as a whole; and utilise this knowledge to deliver on Diligent’s business goals. As well as our core responsibility to build an industry leading GRC platform we also serve as SME’s and a centre of excellence for Product, Market and Domain knowledge across the business. 

As a Group Product Manager, you will have ownership of the product roadmap for a Solution Pillar (Ethics and Compliance) on the platform as well as leadership and line management of Product Managers within that area. You will be responsible for all aspects of product, from strategy, to delivery, and ongoing customer retention and user satisfaction. You will be uniquely empowered to define the product vision, identify and work through dependencies with other products, and actively solicit feedback on your products and roadmap. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the Ethics, Corporate and Regulatory Compliance worlds and serve as the centre of excellence across the rapidly growing and diverse Diligent organization.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Managers providing day-to-day people management as well as coaching, guiding and driving best-practice to develop your team to become a world-class product management function  
  • Support the Director of Product Management with the definition of strategy, training, best-practice and day-to-day management of a global PM team.  
  • Serve as the leader of a cross-functional team of engineers and UX designers, with key stakeholders in Product Marketing, Customer Success, Pre-/Sales, and Marketing (as necessary). 
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the Ethics, Corporate and Regulatory Compliance domain, applying problem solving skills to address critical and complex issues to ensure the platform evolves in line with the organizational strategy and commercial objectives. 
  • Take responsibility for relevant parts of the platform roadmap, prioritization of Initiatives/Epics, and determining scope and effort with the development team (as necessary).  
  • Be accountable for the creation and maintenance of a prioritized backlog of Epics with clearly written user stories that are detailed, measurable, and testable (as necessary).  
  • Develop a detailed understanding of functional capabilities and limitations, user scenarios, and business value derived for the Diligent platform and how they intersect with other Diligent products and 3rd-party products. 
  • Utilize best practice PM methodologies such as Jobs-to-be-Done in order to clearly and consistently communicate your strategy and the business value it will deliver to Diligent.  

Required Experience/Skills  

  • Either an existing Group Product Manager with one or more reports or an experienced Senior Product Manager including predominantly SaaS product experience in more recent years.
  • Successful track record in building products within innovative, growth-oriented companies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment where travel may be required.
  • A passion for PM best-practice and a desire to share and implement what you’ve learned.  

Preferred Experience/Skills  

  • Existing GRC or related Ethics, Corporate and Regulatory experience preferable but not necessary. 
  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies. 
  • Experience integrating multiple products/building an enterprise platform. 
  • Language skills (French, Spanish, German) would be a plus.
