Position Overview

This role will support an Operational Technology (OT) Asset Inventory Service which will provide secure visibility, to internal stakeholders, of automatically & manually discovered OT devices plus their vulnerability insights.

Essential Job Functions

1. OT Asset Inventory solution - on-going project working with client stakeholder and a technical team, based in Kuala Lumpa, building a cmdb user interface to the discovered OT Asset Inventory.
2. Vulnerability Management - involves providing awareness to the wider business of cyber vulnerabilities in their assets, by creation and sending of notifications and alerts. Involves working in our OT Asset Inventory Automatic Discovery Technology Platform and interpreting cyber vulnerability and intelligence information.

OT Asset Inventory solution related activities

Work collaboratively with a team of cmdb platform / data SME’s and stakeholder to build an Operational Technology (OT) Asset Inventory in our cmdb. This work involves:

1. Contribution to the design and enhancement of OT asset classes, used within the cmdb platform.
2. Development of data transformation business rules, to ensure that automatically discovered and manually entered devices appear as OT asset Configuration Items, within defined cmdb constructs.
3. Creation and execution of UAT test cases created for cmdb OT Asset Inventory solution related functionality,being developed.
4. Creation of Reports and Dashboards from the cmdb platform.
5. Engage and train users/maintainers of the OT Asset Inventory solution
6. Produce support documentation for Internal resources.
7. On-board users to the OT Asset Inventory solution

Vulnerability Management related activities

1. Advance and exploit our Automatic Asset Inventory Technology, to improve existing business processes.
2. Review cyber vulnerability information, Threat Advisories and associated Intelligence, to produce targeted alerts and notifications for sending on to business stakeholders.
3. Train individuals on our Automated Asset Inventory Technology and the cmdb OT Asset Inventory solution.
4. Use KQL to produce data driven insights.
5. Work with internal stakeholders to validate the accuracy of automatically discovered Inventory vs actual known inventory.

The candidate is expected to communicate with internal Digital Security teams, cmdb SMEs and users of the OT Asset Inventory solution.

Requirements

The ideal candidate enjoys learning new technologies, is a critical thinker, enjoys solving unknown & detailed problems, has the ability to see through the eyes of the customer, can influence, can work autonomously, can establish rapport and good working relationships with our client's customers and is a proficient verbal and written communicator.

Operational Technology / Automation System experience would be desirable. Knowledge of dashboards and reporting a plus.
