Our M&A Cybersecurity team works diligently to protect NielsenIQ from cyber-attacks. We're constantly developing new security systems and processes to detect and analyze vulnerabilities and minimize risks during the M&A integration process.

As a Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) Cybersecurity Advisor, you’ll be responsible for executing cybersecurity M&A due diligence activities and working with cross-functional teams to collaborate, coordinate, and report M&A cyber integration activities

Job Description

What you'll do

• Participate in due diligence activities to assess and report cyber risks of target companies against commonly accepted cybersecurity frameworks, such as CIS CSC, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001.
• Facilitate and coordinate cybersecurity integration activities across multi-discipline teams to implement cybersecurity architecture designs and deploy cybersecurity tools and capabilities to M&A companies.
• Successfully manage simultaneously multiple M&A integration projects and initiatives to reach milestones and maintain established timelines.
• Design, build, and communicate M&A cybersecurity metrics and reporting to leadership.
• Develop and implement continuous cybersecurity process improvements to reduce risk and streamline the M&A process.

Qualifications

We're looking for people who have

• B.S. in Cybersecurity, IT Management, or a related field or a minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• 3 years of project management experience focused on cybersecurity.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, such as CIS CSC, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001, and security architecture design and implementation.
• Experience working with multiple areas of cybersecurity, including cloud, application security, network security, vulnerability management, identity management, and vendor management.
• Experience with Microsoft, Jira, or similar tools for document management and project management.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology and business teams.
