OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWZeroFox seeks a Disruption Partner Security Analyst to assist our Disruption Partners in combating digital crime, by remediating activity or content which perpetuates malicious activity on the internet. The Disruption Partner Security Analyst will be dedicated to a ZeroFox Disruption Partner, working with their teams to analyze abuse trends and remove malicious content. The Disruption Partner Security Analyst will report on trends for both the Partner and ZeroFox, and will be an escalation point for customer issues related to Partner network abuse reports.

Role and responsibilities

  • Work as a part of the Customer Security Operations organization to protect ZeroFox customers from digital crime, making the internet a safer place
  • Protect our customers by analyzing data, patterns, and alarms in accordance with team procedures
  • Identify and remediate malicious activity based on both historic and emerging trends.
  • Utilize communications both internal and external to help prevent security events that negatively affect our customers.
  • Deliver regular reporting to ZeroFox and the Disruption Partner
  • Act as an internal escalation point for customer abuse reports 

Required qualifications and skills

  • 2-3 years in an investigative role or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of current or emerging trends in the threat landscape (e.g. Phishing, Scams, Malware, Payment Fraud, Content Complaints, etc.).
  • Ability to identify malicious activity within a customer account, website, etc.
  • Ability to identify a malicious threat actor versus a compromised customer.
  • Ability to use internal and external investigative tools to perform a thorough investigation while maximizing performance. 
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions framed by established policy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills & problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
  • Experience analyzing and producing KPI reports

Desired qualifications and skills

  • Experience with Registar & Web Hosting provider products and services.
  • Experience in payment & fraud investigation
  • Experience in reviewing phishing/malware
  • Experience with Compliance in the fields of privacy, community guidelines, content moderation, intellectual property

Other Information

  • This position will report to the Director, Security Operations
  • This position may entail up to 5% travel
  • Work to be partially performed at our office in Savannah, GA (hybrid)
  • This role requires occasional work on nights and weekends as needed.
  • Work to be performed entirely outside of the state of Colorado (if location is various)
