Our first US office opened in New York City in 2016 and since then have rapidly expanded through organic growth and acquisitions, with additional hubs in Philadelphia, Dallas and Boston. Our US team started with 30 consultants, with a current team of around 120 we have strong ambitions to grow our US team to 1000 consultants by 2025.

Job Description

The opportunity

At the crossroads of management and digital consulting, you will assist large organizations - including Fortune 500 - in their most critical transformations. You will be responsible for delivering pragmatic and agile IT strategies that align client priorities and support top management in delivering engagements in some of the areas below:

• IT Strategy and Planning: Align IT to business goals: Assessments, Roadmaps, M&A Integration, Cloud Migration and Adoption, Digital Business Modeling and Implementation
• Sourcing & Optimization: Optimize service delivery model: IT & Business Process Sourcing, Cost Reduction (~40%), Streamlined Vendor Management, Benchmarking
• Cybersecurity: Mitigate risks across your organization: Cyber Assessment, Red Teaming, Digital Identity, Crisis Management, Recovery & Resilience, Compliance
• Data management: Build a data-driven organization: Innovate with data, Leverage data as a business asset, Create and foster a data culture

Based on your profile and background, your key responsibilities

• Managing engagements (totally or partially regarding your seniority) with our clients, responsible for the day to day running of the engagements, including developing strategic recommendations and guidance, and ensure the highest quality service for our clients.
• Participating in the business development activity of the global practice which will include full lifecycle from pre-sales support, identification of cyber opportunities & scope the delivery phase of engagements
• Participating in the people development by sharing knowledge, mentoring, and coaching team members and leading by example
• Collaborating and coordinating across the different US location in order to participate in the offices development by creating thought leadership and marketing materials for selling and promoting our offerings
• Continuing to upskill and stay current with the market.
• Contribute to various internal activities (Thought leadership, etc.)

We are recruiting across several levels of seniority from Consultant to Manager.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role:

• BA/BS Degree
• Solid foundations in consulting skills with 1-5 years’ experience in external client-facing consulting or equivalent role (IT, management, or cybersecurity focused consulting)
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, and constantly changing environment and eager to embrace the Wavestone culture
• Proven background leading IT transformation programs both operational and strategic
• Good technical understanding to bring credibility to advisory work
• Skills to create and deliver meaningful presentations with an impact and produced high quality reports
• Comprehensive knowledge of at least 4 of the below topics:
  • Cyber Security Strategy
  • Risk Assessment/Management
  • IT Strategy definition and implementation
  • IT operating model design
  • IT Sourcing strategy 
  • Project/program management
  • Change Management
  • Agile Transformation
  • Data Protection & Privacy

Travel and Location

You can join our offices in New York, Dallas, London or Paris. Employees are not required to work in a Wavestone office on a full-time basis but are required to work in the US and live within commuting distance from our New York City or Dallas office.
