We are now looking for a Compliance Analyst in Lithuania to join our team!

This role will be an essential part of the Global Compliance team with an opportunity to develop into a knowledge expert in the region for onboarding, monitoring and broader AML & CTF compliance.

The ideal candidate resides in Lithuania and has experience with KYC processes and a sound knowledge of AML regulations.

About the role:

Here’s a little more about what the role entails:

  1. Performing KYC/AML checks and processing applications
  2. Identifying threats, patterns and suspicious activities using analytics including on-chain analytics
  3. Researching regulation and compliance trends to improve policies, procedures and controls
  4. Working with the support team to help with customer enquiries
  5. Working with the product team to improve and automate the onboarding and monitoring
  6. Assist with preparing regulatory reporting and correspondence
  7. Developing technical and compliance knowledge everyday

About you:

These are the skills and experience we think you’ll need to succeed in this role:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience within a risk/compliance related business function.
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, in both English and Lithuanian. This should include good drafting and summarising capabilities.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of the AMLD5 and other relevant AML & CTF and Sanctions legislation.
  • A professional compliance, AML/CFT, or financial qualification, and membership of a recognised professional body such as ICA or ACAMS, would be advantageous but not a prerequisite.

  • Self-developer - Need to be able to teach yourself new things quickly. The field is developing rapidly and you’ll need to be able to figure things out on your own (and have the curiosity to want to do that).
  • Professional - while you’ll have a great team accessible virtually, you should be comfortable taking ownership over your areas of responsibility.
  • Communication - Must be a good team-player who keeps stakeholders informed
