Job Description

Bosch’s Rotational Development Program is an 18-month, entry-level rotational program. Our Rotational Development Program is designed for Bachelor's and Master's level candidates. Our program puts you on the fast track for professional and leadership opportunities throughout Bosch.

The Rotational Development Program is composed of four rotational assignments custom designed to include work in several different technologies with our world class engineering team. The rotations will be customized for you, in the areas of autonomous, connected, and electrified. The program is designed to allow for the experience of varied work teams and environments, with the possibility of an international rotation. You will be partnered with an executive mentor to provide professional coaching and career guidance as well as a peer mentor to help guide you through the program. You will also gain leadership exposure through structured networking events and targeted training.

At completion of the 18-month rotational program, this position will be located in Plymouth, Michigan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
  • 3-years of Development Experience or Exposure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of one completed internship, co-op, or six months full-time relevant work experience related to your field of study
  • Geographically mobile: Candidate must be willing and able to relocate multiple times within the U.S and/or one international assignment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States – Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable under this program.

Highly Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • In role you will coach and lead assessment of Failure Mode Avoidance documents for features, components, modules, and systems in future vehicle programs. 
  • Strong communication skills, and great judgement about what communications to use in a particular situation or on a particular medium.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of colleagues, from curriculum writers to Cybersecurity Lecturers, to engineers and designers.

Knowledge and experience/familiarity in some of the following:

Skills

  • Network security, systems security, logs and detection administration, cyber threat intelligence processes, cryptography, application security, python coding, penetration testing, and GRC.

Operating Systems

  • Linux, Windows, Mac OS, and their performance monitoring tools. 

Tools 

  • Wireshark, Command Line Network Tools (SSH, Nmap, netstat, etc.), Vulnerability. 
  • Physical and Virtual Networking.
  • Governance, Compliance, Risk Management Framework, Incident Response Planning.
  • SIEM, System/Application Monitoring, or Performance Tools
  • Applied Knowledge in GRC and RMF.
  • Applied cryptography and cryptographic protocols.
  • Application development using Python, additional languages a plus.
  • Fundamentals of Penetration Testing.
