Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior DevSecOps engineer with a TS/SCI w/ poly clearance to work with an AWS cloud native, software development team to develop automated infrastructure and application deployment. This is an important customer mission to adapt the development of a system using DevSecOps processes and ideas to meet the functionality and cybersecurity needs of the future. Understand the needs of a development effort and apply creative thinking to automate DevSecOps processes and a willingness to adapt to whatever the customer needs. Use deep technical skills and flexibility to maneuver the rapidly changing environment. Be part of an agile scrum team providing knowledge in numerous development tools and technologies. Solve complex problems without static solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Implement deployment automation, software incident monitoring, testing, and configuration management controls
• Institute automation improvements throughout the CI/CD pipeline including build, test, package and deploy
• Analyze developer recommendations for software enhancements across cloud/containers/open source solutions
• Implement and design server, network, and software configurations for a cloud computing infrastructure and applications with a focus on DevOps principles
• Monitor the performance of systems
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
• Write and maintain documentation of system architecture, installation, operations, and maintenance procedures and provide status reports based on customer and program requirements

Here's what you need:

• 10 years of experience in technology consulting with a Master's degree or 12 years of experience in technology consulting with a Bachelor's degree or 15 years of technology consulting experience
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD and Enterprise CI/CD tools like (GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, etc)
• 3+ years experience supporting the Cloud environments to include, delivering, securing and managing container-based applications and supporting the Cloud
• 2+ years experience in systems administration and automation with Windows and/or Linux 
• Experience deploying and monitoring web applications in AWS
• Experience working in a serverless environment

Bonus points if you have:

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator 
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect 
• Experience with Azure and Google cloud platforms
• Experience in working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with containers (Docker/Podman) and their orchestration tools (docker compose/Swarm/Kubernetes)
• Experience with the Atlassian tools in agile environments
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Bash Scripting
• Experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/Terraform/Ansible)
• Experience with scripting, including shell scripts, Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or Groovy
• Experience driving adoption of shift-level approach, policy-as-code, security-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, and zero trust compliance
• Experience with deploying Cloud services

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI w/ poly

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.     

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role   

California: $105,200 - $168,400  

Colorado: $105,200 - $145,500  

New York City: $121,700 - $168,400 

Washington: $112,100 - $154,900
