We are looking for an outstanding Software Engineer to join our Elastic Security Solution team. This candidate will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions on the Cloud Native Integrations team

This person should have experience with cloud-native deployments and architecture. They should be able to keep up with these technologies to ensure the solution evolves and remains highly effective!

What You Will Be Doing

• Build an innovative container security solution to protect applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams when working on cross-team efforts.
• Guide product-focused engineering efforts to invent and ship valuable and significant features to an emerging market.
• Engage with and mentor capable engineers as we work together to introduce compelling solutions.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Work in a distributed team

What You Bring Along

• Professional and in-depth experience with Go with strong analytical and debugging skills
• Thorough understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem
• Comprehensive knowledge of security best practices while working with Kubernetes
• Experience with the Linux operating system and familiarity with the kernel
• Ability to communicate well with individuals and groups to accomplish a shared set of goals
• Ability to work independently

Bonus Points

• Deep understanding of the Linux process execution model
• Experience with BPF and/or Linux security modules
• Experience with Kubernetes Operators & Controllers development
• Experience building telemetry-based observability and security products
• Knowledge of the Elastic stack and solutions
