Job Description

ADGA Group Consultants Inc. is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to provide security-domain engineering expertise for the development of security requirements and architecture, the assessment of potential solutions, and the review of system level designs and products.

Job Tasks: 

  • Perform security requirements analysis and definition
  • Collaborate with other technical and engineering staff on any security requirements or architecture adjustments
  • Recommend and evaluate security engineering changes and perform a system impact analysis
  • Analyze and implement Security Change Requests (CR)
  • Analyze and resolve identified Security System Problem Reports (SPRs)
  • Design, develop and integrate security requirement in system
  • Conduct “buy and try” evaluations
  • Perform system prototyping, modeling and simulation
  • Support  security architecture design
  • Provide support to security testing
  • Provide support to system integration
  • Provide support to system qualification testing
  • Provide system acceptance support
  • Provide verification and validation (V&V) supports on security systems

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Engineering in software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Security Engineer on Military Command and Control systems.
  • Current CISSP qualification
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in designing, developing and integrating new security controls/ solutions within a network system architectures within the past 8 years.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in designing and implementing communication and network security system, such as an enterprise VPN solution within the past 8 years.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in design and implementation of an identity and access management solution (identification and authorization) within the past 8 years.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in design and implementation of an end point protection solution within the past 8 years.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in designing and implementing an example of defence in depth solution within the past 8 years.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in analyzing, evaluating and resolving system security related issues within the past 8 years.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in designing and validating assessment and test strategies within the past 8 years
  • Must have a minimum 2 years of demonstrated work experience within the last 10 years in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering (i.e., System, software, computer, communication, security, or simulation) experience
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work  experience in providing advice, guidance, and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks, or strategies.
  • Must have a minimum 6 years of demonstrated work experience performing strategic, operational, or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.

Additional Information

  • Must currently hold Federal Government PWGSC Top Secret Clearance 
  • Copies of Degrees and Certifications will be required
