Information Security Manager

As our Information Security Manager you will operate the ISMS by coordinating the required activities. The person appointed will be part of the Information Security Team and responsible for defining and embedding best practice information security policies, standards and processes based on ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018. Reporting to the CEO, this role principally advises and enables technical and operational teams to make security decisions and provide advice and guidance, ensuring the effective adherence to standards and best practices. Has a proactive responsibility to assist in the delivery of secure systems and implement proportionate controls by working with Product, Change, Risk, IT teams, and 3rd party vendors.

What You'll Do

• Further develop and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018 standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a complete set of corporate information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to information security.
• Manage and assess the information security risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers, including through the use of vendor risk management processes and security assessments.
• Lead the work on compliance audits, certifications and accreditations (e.g. ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR etc.).
• Maintain and project manage the continued development of Divio's GRC controls and measures to protect systems and data.
• Collaborate with business operations, internal IT and third party vendors to promote and adopt security best practices.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the ISMS.
• Continuously review and improve the ISMS in response to changing threats and business needs.
• Provide regular reporting on ISMS performance to senior management.
• Maintain the ISMS certification as per the current standards and ensure that the certification is not lapsed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we think you should have

• A deep understanding of how information security assurance works in practice, and ideas on how you want to optimize and simplify its application.
• 5+ years of experience as an information security professional with a technical background, managing an ISMS or parts of it.
• Comprehensive understanding of information security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, European data protection legislation including GDPR).
• Experience from monitoring and reporting on compliance with the security and data protection policies and on the enforcement of the policies.
• Working knowledge of Security Architecture and potential security issues related to them PaaS, Iaa and SaaS.
• Experience from Security Policy Framework requirements.
• Experience from Auditing principles.
