About the Role

As Associate Director – Cybersecurity you’ll be responsible for leading the team, tools, strategy and direction for Cybersecurity across Australia. This role will ensure we offer independent and expert level consulting, support and solutions in line with our strategy. As Associate Director you’ll lead an outstanding team of security professionals that keep our customers safe.

What you’ll do

As Associate Director – Cybersecurity you will:

  • Work with the wider Australian Leadership team to provide an outstanding cybersecurity strategy and industry best practices meeting our business objectives
  • Work with the sales team to develop and lead accelerated growth in the Cybersecurity practice
  • Develop forward-thinking IT strategies that support Datacom’s ability to achieve business aspirations and capitalises on our value proposition
  • Work with customers to identify industry best practice cybersecurity solutions
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our Cybersecurity practice, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that availability, deadlines, budgets and service levels are met, and results delivered
  • Manage the relationships with (and between) external agencies, customers and suppliers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in line with strategic and financial goals and ongoing service is in-line with agreed contracts
  • Lead the team to ensure technology to enable business strategic outcomes and goals are delivered and available.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a Cybersecurity expert to join our senior leadership team. You’ll have significant experience in general management, managing and mentoring people and teams; and be well networked within the Cyber industry. You’ll have experience developing Enterprise Cybersecurity strategies and programs – setting a clear vision for the group to achieve success for our customers.

Ideally, you'll have a Master of Business Administration in Cybersecurity, or similar.
