As an Application Security Engineer, you will be part of a growing team of highly skilled engineers providing delivery services for customers in several verticals including retail, finance, healthcare, and more. Your primary responsibilities revolve around partnering with our customers to advise, develop, implement, and run their Application Security tools. You will constantly learn about and utilize the newest application security tools, such as SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA.

Role and responsibilities:
• Perform code reviews
• Run client SAST/DAST/SCA tools, review outputs and provide recommendations
• Implement integrations for tools into pipelines, ticketing systems, etc.
• Perform manual application/API assessments of customer applications
• Assist customers with questions relating to practical use of application security tools
• Advise customers on application security best practices

Experience required:
• At least 3 years of experience working in Application Security Domain
• Knowledge of and experience with SAST/DAST/SCA Application Security tools such as: Burp Suite, Netsparker, Veracode, Checkmarx, Snyk, etc.
• Experience with the integration of tools into development pipelines
• Understanding of a broad range of Application Security issues as well as their mitigation strategies
• Understanding of Application Security related vulnerabilities
• Experience with reviewing source code written in JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, PHP, or C# a plus
• Written communication skills for written interactions with clients
• Strong communication skills that include the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and refine complex problems into digestible pieces of information
• Ability to manage time independently while handling multiple projects concurrently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security preferred
• Standard industry certifications are preferred
