Job Description

Purpose

Senior Security Engineer provides expertise and advice as needed on multiple areas of security technology, including network security, platform security, authentication/authorization systems, application security, physical security and security frameworks. All the above mentioned activities are performed based on the needs and requirements of customers.

Key accountabilities

• Analyze customer security requirements
• Day to day responsibility of security operation
• Define, establish and manage data leakage protection and prevention system
• Advance evaluation of security attacks attempts
• Evaluation of security investigation executed by security administrators
• Working on vulnerabilities – finding solutions, testing, packaging up for operations
• Perform and maintain security risk assessment and business impact analysis and define possible improvements
• Ensure that measures specified in security policies and standards are applied
• Manage the Security Management life cycle
• Write and maintain security documents, documentation (Processes, Procedures, Policies, Works Instructions)
• Update the security measures to improve the security management practices
• Evaluation and approval of configuration changes to assure no impact on logical security of the infrastructure/systems/network
• Perform regular checks/control/audits of SOC systems/application/network infrastructure hardening
• Supervising critical security tasks
• Provides analytical and technical security recommendations to other team members, oversight boards, and clients. Identifies requirements, based upon need or as the result of a security issue that puts organizations systems at risk.
• Meets with clients and management to help specify and negotiate application security requirements, reviews current policies and procedures for applicability, and system OS security patch levels, and ensures safe transition of applications to production.
• Develops technology to automate security monitoring

Qualifications

Education

• Master’s degree

Experince

• Security Management – 3 years
• Endpoint security in an enterprise environment
• Experience with Symantec security products

Languages

• English - Upper intermediate (B2)

• Good communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work across various cultures and across organizations and company boundaries.
• This role requires the ability to identify goals to be pursued, and to influence others towards these same goals.
• Awareness of business structures, drivers, influences and have knowledge of political and financial challenges of a large International group.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2500 € /brutto.
