As you can imagine, critical infrastructure involves critical information security. Our Information Security team is at the heart of Copperleaf’s approach to handling client data and our intellectual property. We’re looking for an Information Security Analyst with strong experience investigating, documenting, and explaining Information Security compliance requirements to internal and external interested parties.

What will you do?

Our Information Security Analysts perform a diverse set of responsibilities through the business processes of Copperleaf and act in partnership with assigned teams. You will:

  • Ensure cybersecurity practices are built into projects and initiatives throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • Identify and document threats and vulnerabilities that may impact the business and address them regularly with leadership and business unit staff.

You may also (depending on skills, experience, and interest):

  • Write whitepapers and presentations on subjects relating to information security, then present these to other Information Security team members, leadership, and staff.
  • Evaluate Copperleaf technical compliance against industry standards through interview, research, and testing of controls.
  • Perform security testing of applications through various stages of the implementation and deployment process.
  • Respond to client (and prospective client) questions and surveys regarding Copperleaf’s approach to information security, covering all aspects of data confidentiality, privacy, standards compliance, and technical controls.
  • Review proposed cybersecurity clauses in contracts against current practices to establish appropriateness and internal requirements.

Your background:

We recognize that talent comes in many forms, so above all we’re looking for passion, enthusiasm, and transferable skills. You may have some of the following experiences:

  • Multiple years of experience in cybersecurity, building on experience in related fields.
  • Proven project leadership with legacy and emerging technologies related to information security.
  • Knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) security configuration and management.
  • Demonstrated experience and thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and laws such as ISO, PCI, SOX, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Wide-ranging knowledge in technical infrastructure and applications, from legacy through next generation.
  • Certifications from (ISC)2, SANS, CompTIA, and ISO.

You:

  • Have the ability to foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and excel in security communication.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity, trustworthiness, and confidence to represent yourself, the company, and security leadership with the highest level of professionalism.
