Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer who will develop and manage the CI/CD pipelines for a variety of applications. The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be a “generalist” with CI/CD pipeline and security requirements and will possess a strong knowledge of the products being supported, as well as the platform. The DevSecOps Engineer will have experience in a technical customer service capacity, along with solid customer management and experience with handling escalations.
Responsibilities:
- Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
- Plan and lead major technology assignments
- Evaluate performance results and recommends any major changes that could affect short-term project growth and success
- Lead other team members as it relates to project initiatives
Requirements:
- Deep understanding for agile and DevSecOps methodologies
- Experience with DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab or similar tools
- Experience creating and maintaining documentation for implementations
- Developed, tested, and maintained containerized applications
- Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Software Build process and capability of building& maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications
- Experience with cloud systems and architecture (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Developed software with Java, Spring framework, JBoss, Python, JavaScript, node.js and/or Angular
- Developed infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code(CaC) using tools like Packer, Terraform and Ansible
- Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
Skills/Qualifications:
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and gain expert-level understanding of the latest approaches (i.e., auto-scaled cloud-based systems, serverless architectures, cloud/on-premises hybrid solutions)
- Strong “security-first” mindset
- Familiar with microservices architecture (REST, JMS, AMPQ)
- Familiar with Linux and Scripting (Bash and Python)
- Experience with Istio is a plus
- Ability to work on high performing teams that support multiple projects and personnel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
