Job Description

We are currently seeking a product security expert dealing with the embedded software domain to join ETAS's SoC Security Software team. The primary responsibilities are performing analysis, creation, and maintenance of security-relevant work products related to the ADAS platforms the team will work on.

The role supports the product development throughout the complete development life-cycle, starting from conception until series production release of the product and beyond. This role will be a key player in the regional security organization, with strong ties to the global security community within ETAS. This gives opportunities to network with cross functional teams and divisions within ETAS and help influence the security ecosystem within the industry.

You Will

  • Perform security analysis of product solutions and create security solutions (e.g. TARA)
  • Manage the planning and implementation of security-relevant deliverables and certifications for the product
  • Support the team during the complete development lifecycle
  • Drive internal security improvements, security knowledge and awareness in the team
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure security is maintained throughout the product lifetime
  • Review implementations with security and vulnerabilities as a focus
  • Work with business managers and customers to help educate and design secure solutions to meet their needs
  • Potentially create white papers and provide security related talks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer/electrical engineering, information technology, or related
  • Strong background in software security, cyber security, and cryptography
  • 4+ years working in the embedded software domain or related
  • 2+ years working with security related responsibilities
  • Experience planning and conducting TARA's or related security analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications and network protocols
