Job Description:

Cybersecurity Engineers are part of a specialized field of systems engineers that integrate cybersecurity requirements, engineering principles, and system design standards to ensure the architecture for critical systems, platforms, and information remains secure. In this role, you will use your systems engineering expertise review and assess of a wide range of complex systems to identify technical risks within the system's cybersecurity posture and work with the system owner to develop and recommend appropriate mitigations to manage cybersecurity risks. Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related STEM discipline. A relevant Master of Science (M.S). degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience and a PhD may be substituted for four (4) years of experience.
  • Current CompTIA Security + certification
  • Ability to obtain one of more of the following certifications within the first six (6) months on contract: CPTE, CEH, CISA, and/or CISSP.
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices and threat-based cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience providing system security engineering guidance for DoD customers.
  • Familiarity with system authorization processes and necessary security artifacts.
