The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. The company develops and produces innovative solutions for security and communication systems, fire alarms and electronic displays. With about 700 employees, its success lies in the highly specialized and innovative team and technological know-how.

Job Description

Bosch Power Tools is responsible within Bosch to bring new products to the consumer market where you have not only power drills, grinders, electric saws, but also robotic lawn mowers like Bosch Indego.

As a member of a Bosch Power Tools team you will play an active role in validating and making sure that all security standards are met within all products developed for this business unit. You will be able to work next to the team that develops the firmware, hardware and cloud solutions for the Indego Robotic Lawn Mower where you will be able to interact directly to make sure that the product is safe. You will also be working in an international team with colleagues in Germany.

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Support and foster cybersecurity engineering inside the organization
  • Central point of contact for cybersecurity solutions in projects
  • Perform and support threat and risk analyses
  • Develop cybersecurity designs for IoT systems (e.g., key management, etc.)
  • Support monitoring and managing software vulnerabilities and incidents

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BSc in computer science, SW engineering or similar
  • Cyber security knowledge
  • Good understanding of software architecture
  • Eager to learn new things

  • Cyber security practices and processes
  • Programming skills 
  • Good understanding of systems
  • Fast learner
  • English

Soft skills:

  • Good communication skills 
  • Willingness to learn and support

    • Needs to travel to different PT locations around 2 times per year
