About the role:

As Forensics Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that the investigation of misbehavior on computer systems or any digital devices by collecting and analyzing digital devices or computer-related evidence are conducted based on the agreed timeframe. Retrieve data that have been encrypted or electronically stored on a commercial or personal computer. He/She is the primary focal point of contact for any cyber security incident response and forensic related activities. Work with IT Security Operations Center Lead to investigate wrong doings or activities to protect data against room criminals or attackers.

How you'll contribute: 

  • Oversees or Supervises Cyber Security Incident Response & Forensic and provides technical guidance.
  • Leads, trains, and manages Cyber Security Incident Response & Forensic personnel.
  • Manages Cyber security incident, creates processes, assesses incident reports, and develops and implements cyber crisis communication plans.
  • Determines best methods of requesting and collecting data and devices as part of ongoing investigations
  • As subject matter expert, provide guidance and consultation to most effectively and efficiently requested services.
  • Provides direct technical support to investigation, litigation, and forensic analyst, to collect, preserves, process, analyze and interpret digital evidence from a broad range of electronic data storage media.
  • Conduct research of IP addresses, domain names, and other cyber activity to provide investigative leads.

 

What we’re looking for

  •            Years of Work Experience: 5 - 10 years           
  • Educational Attainment: Bachelor's Degree
  • Required Certification/Professional License (if applicable): With certification to any of the following or equivalent: Certified Information Security Professional, Certified Computer Hacking Forensics Investigation, Certified Incident Handler, eLearnSecurity Certified Digital Forensics Professional, Certified Forensic Computer Examiner, Any GIAC (SANS) Certification
  • Field of Specialization (if applicable): Cyber Forensic Investigation and Cyber Security Incident Management
