Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer who will support an effort to deploy, enhance, release, and sustain cloud-based applications for a government customer using agile software development and a DevSecOps infrastructure and focus. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the government-designated infrastructure provider to provision and maintain automated deployment pipelines to release patches and updates to the software applications.
  • Identifying and supporting opportunities for integrating with other software information systems.
  • Using a microservice-based backend architecture that relies on REST API endpoints for inter-service communication.

Here's what you need:

  • 1+ year of experience designing, deploying, and managing modern software development resources.
  • 1+ year of experience with a container orchestration solution (Docker, Kubernetes), preferably Kubernetes.
  • 1+ year of experience experience working with the Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • 1+ year of experience with cloud engineering (AWS or Azure).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Experience with open-source style development infrastructure including open backlogs, multi- contributors, etc.
  • Experience in the DoD software development space.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.    

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  

California: $90,700 - $253,200

Colorado: $90,700 - $218,700

New York City: $105,000 - $253,200 

Washington: $96,600 - $232,900
