Job Description

What impact will you make?

Our Cyber family keeps growing and expanding our limits. We will provide managed cyber security services to our EMEA clients from our Cyber Intelligence Center based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

How you will make an Impact

• Inform all contacts defined by the client about the potential impact of a security incident, along with the countermeasures required to correct the situation:
  • DLP cases.
  • Devices infected with malware.
  • Network status.
  • Social engineering incidents logged by monitoring social networking sites.
• Responding to client requests received via the established channels and resolving them by implementing the relevant procedures.
• Monitoring phishing cases and the status of technology within the client’s network.
• Allowing/denying connections to requested domains/IPs.
• Extracting raw data needed to create reports, Log analysis, SIEM technologies, Traffic analysis tools.
• Actively participating in the process of improving incident analysis and management procedures.
• Understanding network protocols and infrastructure designs.
• Identifying potential malicious activity.
• Maintaining a sound understanding of advanced threats, continuous vulnerability assessment, and response and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

What you offer

• You are passionate about Cybersecurity!
• Graduates or Technical final-year students
• High level of English. We also work with international teams!
• Open to work shifts

Desired:

• Tertiary qualification in a technical field (such as electronics, computer science, information technology or related fields)
• Exposure or understanding in IT or Cyber concepts, (less than a year)
