Network Security Consultant

• Firewalls – Next gen Firewall (Checkpoint, VMware NSX-T Firewalls), Load balancer – F5 (GTM/LTM)
• Experience in operations, maintenance and troubleshooting Network Security/Load balancer related tasks.
• Perform network maintenance and Monitor performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Manage corporate Checkpoint Firewall implementing security rules and mitigating network attacks covering all aspects of firewall administration such as hardware, operating system, encryption tunnels, VPN, day-to- operations of firewall rule sets etc.
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g .firewalls, load balancers, QoS)
• Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team.
• Knowledge of TCPdump & Wireshark Log analysis
• Supply data on resolvable firewall issues to the vendor Technical Assistance Centres (TAC) and, with assistance from the vendor technicians, advance towards full resolution of the issues and documentation of the process

• Hands on experience in creating VIP pools, nodes and created custom iRules for the virtual servers like cookie persistency and redirection of URL on F5
• Hands On experience in IPAM tools, DNS configuration/troubleshooting
• Knowledge and understanding of network device security and hardening best practices.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Must have a solid understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles, practices and processes in providing and managing the delivery of a large scale, enterprise-wide service.
