About The Role

We're looking for a Information Security Engineer to be an integral member of our Security Team. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for maintaining our security tools, improving the security of our financial services and cloud infrastructure, and helping us reach our security compliance goals. This role will also have responsibilities in endpoint security, cloud security, incident response, and vulnerability assessment. This is a hands-on role, and our ideal candidate will maintain high standards, and wants to play an impactful role in the development of our innovative financial services. Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with software architects, Operations, security defenders, compliance specialists, and business leaders to understand the logical boundaries of the systems and identify the systems where security configurations are necessary to be compared against benchmarks defined as standard methodologies in the industry or required by applicable compliance programs.
  • Writing and maintaining policies and procedures around configuration benchmarks and implementation/verification/documentation of them and any associated changes.
  • Performing impact analysis for all security configuration changes.
  • Acting as one of the gatekeepers for any system change.
  • Defining access control around configuration changes and defining procedures around integrity check, rollback, and fail-safe deployment.
  • Implementing automation around unauthorized configuration changes and working with other security teams to raise alerts.
  • Working with other members of operations and security teams to centralize the configurations such that version control and audit is easy.
  • Demonstrating technical leadership in multiple domain areas, as well as providing mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience deploying and integrating security technologies., 2 years of it as a SecOps engineer, security engineer, senior reliability engineer, working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), or equivalent education.
  • Experience with understanding CVEs and remediating security vulnerabilities
  • High standards and the ability plan, prioritize, and manage competing priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Enjoys working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in a programming language (Python, Ruby, etc)
  • Experience with offensive security processes like port scanning, vulnerability scanning, enumeration, and exploitation
  • Compliance experience (ISO 27001, SOC2, or PCI)
  • Security certification such as an OSCP, GCIH, GCFA, or similar
  • Solid knowledge with AWS & Azure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmark and CSA Cloud Control Matrix.
  • Experience with Linux administration, File systems, and OS controls.
  • Knowledge of firewalls and their ruleset.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, and configuration models for Docker and Kubernetes.
