Job Description

As a Platform Security Engineer, you will contribute to the evaluation, integration and product development of Connected Home devices with best in class security features, secure code and cryptographic protection. Your responsibilities include designing, planning and executing on the security features for Connected Home devices.   

Main responsibilities

  • Integrate security technologies (Linux kernel, bootloader, SoC,…) in our products
  • Interface with SoC vendors (Broadcom, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain code signing tools
  • Design, code and review secure boot software (and other security measures), using industry best practices       
  • Develop product-specific tools for keys handling in the factory process
  • Provide security training to development teams
  • Work closely with project and PU management to ensure accurate execution plan and tracking
  • Vulnerability report review and analysis

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering 
  • 5+ of applicable Security and embedded software development experience

Expertise

  • Hardware security technologies
  • Embedded Linux systems (OpenWRT, buildroot, yocto)
  • Android application and system development
  • Secured software development lifecycle 
  • Applied cryptography

Technical Skills

Required : 

  • C/C++
  • Linux hardening techniques (seccomp, LXC, …)
  • Python and shell scripting
  • Network protocols (TLS, ssh, snmp, tr-69)
  • Vulnerability analysis

Preferred : 

  • Binary analysis and reverse engineering
  • Applied cryptography (RSA, PKI, Open SSL)
  • Security enclaves (TEE, etc…)
  • Service deployment technologies (Docker)
