Job Description

Leidos Australia have a great opportunity for an IT Security Analyst to join our high performing Project Services team.  Working closely with the team and stakeholders you will provide architecture and technical advice to engineers to ensure that projects meet Defence, Industry and Company security requirements.

As this role provides technical and security assurance support to Centralised Project Services and our client it will require you to engage with the wider security teams within the Centralised Processing account to facilitate the smooth integration of new security controls or processes and ensure project objectives are successfully achieved. Your responsibilities in this role will include;

• Develop and Interpret security design content for Project Proposals, ensuring technical security requirements are captured for build documentation against reference standards and CP patterns, as well as security risk treatment plans and other advisories as required.
• Complete technical reviews and endorsements of technical solution designs and changes against documented security baselines.
• Participate in Technical Approach Endorsement (TAE) meetings and Leidos combined project Triage (project proposal) meetings.
• Review threat modelling data structures and information exchanges to better establish and understand risk for project security control treatments.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in IT/Information Security or a related field or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience with integration, configuration and operation of Defence networks.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft and VMware security solutions in a Security focused role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain abstract concepts to both technical and business stakeholder groups.
• Ability to develop and interpret architectural-level direction and implement security technical solutions to address requirements.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and develop security technical requirements whilst working with stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and clients and take ownership for the delivery of business and technical security outcomes.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold and maintain an NV1 or above Australian Government Security Clearance.
