Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems
• Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources
• Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations
• Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
• Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audit
• Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls
• Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Collaborate with vendors to perform penetration testing for internal and cloud environment

Qualifications

• Worked as a security manager for a SaaS company
• Worked as a security engineer
• Experience in Cloud Security, Cloudflare, and VPN Configuration
• Experience with Securing Linux servers
• Proficiency in System Administration and Network Security
• Good skills in problem-solving
• Great knowledge in information security policies
• On-call network troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of Firewall administration, Network protocols, Routers, hubs, and switches
• Skills in OWASP
• Well-versed in security operations, cyber security tools, intrusion detection, and secured networks
  Securing Java applications

Applications and Tools Experience:

• AWS Cloud
• SSO tools like OneLogin
• Security operations center tools like Rapid7
• Logging tools like SumoLogic, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Athena

Security certifications (one of the below or equivalent):

• CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
• CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• SCS-C01 - AWS Security Speciality
• Security+ - from CompTIA
• CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
