Job Description
Your Career
The Federal Engagement and Embedded Architecture team is responsible for the successful implementation, execution, and relationship management of all National Security Division engagements with Xpanse. This team sits between Sales and Engineering to deliver maximum analytical value to our end users, ensure strong product engagement, drive renewals and expansions, solicit product feedback, and scope new product features.
This role will identify processes, product features, and deployment strategies that pave the way for Xpanse to scale quickly both within existing customers and to new customer bases.
Your Impact
- Onboarding
- Training users on the technical functions of the Xpanse platform
- Leadership briefings at customer sites to ensure understanding of Xpanse’s capabilities and engagement progress
- Defining the global Internet sensing vision for our customers, in part by assisting them with the operationalizing of Xpanse platform -This often requires assisting them with workflow development, implementation of the product into existing toolkits, and understanding their most pressing technical challenges
- Account Management
- User engagement and adoption - understanding the unique bureaucratic environments in which the user operates
- Customer training with Xpanse products and services
- Leadership briefings
- Analytical support at customer request - guide customers through analytic workflows within the Xpanse platform, participating at all stages of customer investigations to drive wins - this requires mastering our product capabilities and providing ongoing QA support for the product
- Technical troubleshooting (in collaboration with Engineering team)
- Serve as “customer advocate” with members of product management and engineering to improve the product
- Solicit and document customer feedback using qualitative and quantitative methods - Write and disseminate detailed engagement progress reports to relevant team members across Xpanse
- Renewals and Expansion
- Manage clients and procurement to facilitate contract renewals and customer expansions on products and services
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Ideally 5+ years experience in technical client delivery & engagement and/or technical intelligence analysis
- Knowledge of government/military organizations and functions - e.g., understanding organizational structures, hierarchy and how to apply software product use cases to target stakeholders
- Ability to systematically analyze challenges towards clearly articulated end goals, like optimizing product adoption
- Strong oral communication, including presentation skills, and poise
- Demonstrated aptitude to learn new technical content
- Advanced understanding of and experience supporting operational cyber exercises and missions (plus, not a requirement)
- Collaborative attitude
- Clearance - Top Secret with CI poly and SCI eligibility
- Work Location Expectations - 80% client facilities, 20% remote (home/office)

Federal Cyber Architects work with senior team members and executives across Xpanse to continually improve product performance and impact, effect customer retention, and facilitate rapid feedback loops between product, marketing, and our users. Federal Cyber Architects are crucial to ensuring the success of our engagements with National Security Division clients, thus enabling Xpanse to build a new cybersecurity product category.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $142,800/yr to $231,000/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
