Reporting to the Manager of Compliance Operations, the Compliance Operations Specialist is a key member of Flatiron School’s Legal & Compliance Team. This role will provide project execution support to drive forward important cross-functional policy and operational initiatives. The Compliance Operations Specialist will be responsible for communicating project information to stakeholders, creating presentations, and reviewing and editing project deliverables. In collaboration with the Compliance Operations team, the Compliance Operations Specialist will observe existing project management practices and propose improvements for process efficiency. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Support in the development of project plans to guide key compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Operations team to monitor project schedules to ensure adherence to the project plan.
  • Organize various meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage communication with project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with working groups and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Keep clear documentation and record of all project events and issues.
  • Prepare status updates for team and department leaders on all outstanding projects and initiatives.
  • Support with individual deliverables for all team projects and ongoing business compliance initiatives, including the internal audit program, auditing and creating student records and compiling edits to regulated documents.

  • Excellent computer skills (Google Suite and Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • High level of communication and writing abilities.
  • Experience in a compliance department a plus.

Expected Compensation:

  • $50K $60K annually
