Völur is searching for an experienced security engineer who can help us secure our SAAS software.

Your main responsibility is to plan and execute security work, follow up on incidents and help building a great culture. You will work closely with our Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, developers and

The Cloud Security Engineer is an important contributor to development, planning and operations, so we expect you to have long experience managing complex cloud infrastructure/software - preferably from a product company.

You will be the owner of cloud security and help set up security in the organisation.

You love working in teams, to influence company culture, and would like to contribute building and forming our culture.


The Role

  • Create cloud-based infrastructure and programs securely
  • Help us build a shift-left DevSecOps culture
  • Responsible for penetration testing and threat simulations to identify potential risks
  • Be a part of our planning and development of infrastructure
  • Monitoring for and responding to incidents
  • Conduct SAST and DAST testing
  • Contribute on Cloud Architecture and DevOps
  • Working with analysts, engineers, and data scientists to continually improve cyber resilience
  • Work closely with our CTO on planning and execution of security (SOC2/ISO27001)
  • The position reports to the CTO, but enjoy are autonomy and


This is a full-time position, located in Oslo. While we prefer you to come into the office several days a week, we are open for remote work given the right candidate.



Requirements

  • A higher education with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 4-5 years experience from managing infrastructure in Azure, AWS or GCP
  • 2+ years experience securing Azure
  • 3+ years of experience in security operations
  • Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code
  • 3+ years experience securing containers
  • Hands on experience from SOC2 or ISO27001 implementations
  • Experience securing CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (B2+)
Bonus if you have
  • Azure Certified Security Associate
  • AZ-500, AZ-400, AZ-305
  • Other relevant Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Prior experience as a developer and/or architect
  • Security Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, SY0-601, CEHv11)
  • Experience from ZTNA
