Role: Senior Information Security Engineer

As a Senior Information Security Engineer at Seamless.AI, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our security strategy. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks across all of our systems. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Information Security Program including security policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud security, information security, data privacy and protection, and compliance topics. He or she will be a strong communicator with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and implement information security controls, processes, policies, and tools based on business needs and industry best practices to safeguard data and systems from cyber attacks
• Monitor cloud, systems, and networks for potential threats using security tools and analyzing logs, activity, packets, and alerts for evidence of malicious activity
• Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS cloud security architecture, configurations, documentation, and diagrams.
• Oversee and operate the company vulnerability management program.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential security threats to our  organization’s computing environment
• Conduct security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities in computer networks and applications
• Conduct a forensic analysis of cyber attacks to determine the source of the attack and how to prevent similar attacks in the future
• Conduct vendor security reviews in the Vendor Management process.
• Analyze the impact of emerging technologies on existing security systems and identifying potential risks
• Familiar with OWASP secure coding guidelines and best practices and act in an advisory capacity in the formation of security requirements in projects.
• Administer the company security awareness training program
• Partner closely with compliance, legal, IT, product, and engineering teams acting as the information security subject matter expert

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 5+ years experience designing, implementing, and securing enterprise AWS infrastructure and services.
• One or more certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Certifications, AWS Solutions Architect, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker
• Experience with network and application security
• Experience with compliance frameworks ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC, GDPR, TRUSTe
