Your Career

In this role, within the NGFW and cloud environment. you will research and develop security disciplines to solve real-world problems and critical cybersecurity challenges.

You are someone who is highly technical, understands cloud technologies, and understands the complex world of cloud ecosystems and integrations. You love solving challenges for our customers in complex environments, and you aren’t deterred by the fact that much of this technology just has not been done before. In fact, you like the prospect of the challenge.

Your Impact

As a Senior Engineer, you will:

• Work with Product Management and Development teams to review requirement documents and contribute to the improvement of feature functionality
• Research on cutting-edge cloud technologies, and complex cloud deployments with minimum guidance
• Define comprehensive test plans to validate new feature functionalities; execute and automate all test cases
• Be creative to develop test scenarios for complex customer deployments and incorporate customer feedback
• Debug, reproduce, verify fixes and add new test cases for issues uncovered in customer deployments
• Work in an Agile model and ensure that feature deliverables meet release deadlines

Qualifications

Your Experience

• B.S. or M.S. Degree in a computer-related discipline
• 4+ years of related experience as a Senior Test Engineer on projects in networking/cloud technologies
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with testing firewall functionalities
• Good understanding of networking concepts, L3-L7 protocols
• Experience in testing container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) required
• Excellent coding skills (Perl, Python, or GoLang).
• Experience with Unix/Linux OS
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working in small teams

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) is expected to be between $140,100/yr to $226,600/yr.
