Job Description

Our US Cybersecurity team is an integral part of our Global Store Front, providing support to our clients on a wide array of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Strategy
  • Compliance
  • Risk
  • Resilience
  • Training & Knowledge Management

Responsibilities

  • Guide major projects and manage relationships with flagship and key accounts
  • Summarize and present findings to project managers and clients
  • Collaborate with engagement team to deliver high-quality work products
  • Apply strategic and critical thinking to develop recommendations that address client challenges
  • Lead business development and proposal efforts
  • Manage team of resources to ensure deliverables are provided on time
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team
  • Advance sales efforts and lead internal corporate initiatives
  • Project manage and/or support on a range of client delivery, as part of an on-site or remote project team, including assessments such as NIST, ISO 2700x, SOC2, RCSA, etc.
  • Conduct and manage penetration testing campaigns: Web; on premises / Cloud; thick / thin client; WiFI / SDR / VoIP / Video Conference; Mobile iOS / Android; OT (embedded systems, physical access, IoT, ICS, SCADA and DCS) and code review
  • Benchmark and decision support for technical choices around Cloud solutions and offers;
  • Design of Cloud solutions both on the technical and functional side;
  • Realization of PoC/PoV and automation of the installation of technical bases;
  • New architecture principles (micro services, containers, ...) and new deployment methods induced by Cloud infrastructures (integration and continuous delivery in particular);
  • Training of users and administrators to the deployed solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree a plus) in either: Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, etc.
  • Poses solid knowledge of IP networks, operating systems (Unix/Linux, Windows and/or MacOs), Cloud (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), applications (Web Server, DB, Middleware, etc.);
  • Mastery of a Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP, ...) associated with a security and network expertise, and an expertise in “Infrastructure as Code” tools (CloudFormation & Terraform);
  • Familiarity with the major market solutions and technologies of: Endpoint Security, VPN, VSX, Proxy/Reverse Proxy, EDR, IAM, MDM, DLP, CASB, Office 365 Security, etc;
  • Solid knowledge of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go and/or PowerShell;
  • 7 to 11 years of recent client-facing management consulting experience with an emphasis on cyber related projects, ideally covering one or more of the following topics:
    • Cybersecurity requirements, metrics, reporting procedures and control frameworks (NIST, ISO, CMMC, SANS, SOC2, RCSA, etc.)
    • Cyber, IT, BCP/DR policies and procedures
    • Cyber or non-financial risk quantification
    • Third party risk management (TPRM) / vendor risk
    • Red / Purple teaming
    • Pentesting, vulnerability scans
    • Cloud security and/or network expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Data mapping and lineage
    • Incident response and crisis management
    • Tabletop exercises
    • Knowledge of cryptography and/or blockchain a plus
  • Holds or is willing to obtain within the first year of joining one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CEH, etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply knowledge of data protection regulation and laws to consulting projects, such as the EU-GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, GLBA, and CDPA
  • Strong working knowledge and application of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO, SOC2, etc. Knowledge of CMMC a plus.
  • Based near one of our U.S. operating offices and an eligibility to work within the United States

Washington Compensation Information:

Washington compensation for this opportunity ranges between $180,000 and $220,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.

Hybrid Workplace Guidelines

Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
