Job Description

Your Career 

Palo Alto Networks InfoSec is the largest user of our Products globally, and critical operational feedback from the InfoSec team is key to helping ensure our Products are always exceptional as we continue to be the global cyber security leader. Reporting to the SVP, CISO, the Director of Product Management (InfoSec) plays a crucial role in Palo Alto Networks.

You will drive innovation across the entire security portfolio. Our platforms represent the foundation of our security offering - providing you an opportunity to help define the future of the security industry by solving critical problems and reestablishing what’s possible in this space.

You will have ownership of the above offering from concept definition to launch and beyond. In addition, you will work very closely with additional product managers throughout the organization.

Your Impact 

  • Validate that the 60+ products in our Security Platforms are fully adopted internally across our enterprise
  • Validate that optimum security features are enabled and configured
  • Influence product change through analysis and sharing of essential product feedback, including issues & enhancements, to the individual Product Managers
  • Ensure that the InfoSec team is knowledgeable on the hundreds of product enhancements that occur every year
  • Share with customers how we use our best-of-breed Platforms to protect our company, product, and customers
  • Work with key internal stakeholders presenting and explaining our security solutions while being able to understand and articulate their requirements

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in cyber security
  • Domain expertise in cyber security is highly desirable 
  • Experience and comfort with working with and communicating to key company stakeholders
  • Strong technical, analytical and got-to-market skills
  • Domain expertise in cyber security as well as a passion for driving security within an organization highly desirable
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and market trends
  • History of developing and delivering vision, strategy and plans to engineering and company leadership
  • Hands-on nature with strong interest in new technology products
  • High persuasive and logical driven, as much of the role will be influencing
  • Passion for interacting with customers

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, equivalent training, education, and experience in information / cyber security, computer systems, IT,  or equivalent military experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) is expected to be between $188,800/yr to $305,350/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
