Information Security Officer (Technology)

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Officer who reports to the Information Security Manager and works closely with Technology staff across the Viva Wallet Group. The position requires an experienced officer able to review, develop and enhance the design of technical information security solutions, establish up-to-date secure technology standards and perform security reviews on infrastructure, network, application and data security.

The mode of work requires both a project management approach that offers completion and integrity and a consultant approach that is engaging and collaborative in order to deliver the best practical implementation of security requirements.

More specifically, as Information Security Officer, you will:

• Identify and catalogue the scope for the implementation of technical security measures;
• Review and validate technical implementation compliance with requirements established by policies & standards;
• Develop proof-of-concept security tools or use available industry standard toolset to enhance security monitoring and security mitigation capabilities;
• Align with the technology teams to investigate, review and propose secure implementations;
• Monitor and support the execution of technical reviews in a timely fashion;
• Support audits, technology and compliance information security assessments;
• Understand all applicable laws and regulations;
• Absorb and promote the information security strategy of the Group to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets;
• Monitor metrics to ensure alignment of Information Security Management Framework;
• Remain up to date on emerging threats and evolving security mechanisms and technologies;

Requirements

To be considered you should have:

• Minimum of three (3) years of dedicated Information Security experience;
• Bachelors or Master’s degree required in computer science, information systems or information security related fields;
• Experience with security features and capabilities of Microsoft Azure environment and KQL;
• Possession of technical knowledge on system, network and application security fundamentals, as well as the corresponding attack surface (MITRE ATT&CK framework);
• Provable experience on the use of security tools to analyse suspicious events incidents;
• Code development and/or DevSecOps background will be considered a strong plus;
• Relevant certifications - (ISC)2 CC/CISSP, ISO27001 lead implementor/auditor, Microsoft Security or other relevant security certification;
• Financial Services/Banking industry experience will be considered a plus;
• Proficient written and verbal use of English language (Level C2);
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
• Methodical, intuitive, investigative and coordinating work attitude;
• Ability to maintain professionalism and always strive for high ethical standards;
• Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects;
