Our Cyber Security Platforms & Solutions Team help our clients to navigate and take control of digital disruption for their businesses across New Zealand and Australia, by building, maintaining and enhancing the platforms and solutions our Security Operations Centre use to keep them protected.

About the Role:

You will be working within a team of passionate, innovative and engaging people who focus on building, delivering and supporting the latest Microsoft security solutions for our clients.

What You’ll Do:

You will help develop, manage and maintain our growing portfolio of service offerings based on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure Security solutions.

You will work with new and existing Managed Service customers to deliver security posture outcomes, using the Microsoft Security – Sentinel & Defender product suite.


Role Scope Will Include:

  • Deliver a Microsoft XDR solution to our customers
  • Manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Microsoft Defender for O365 (MDO), Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDA), Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC), Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI), Microsoft Sentinel
  • Security baseline development and deployment
  • Maintain Microsoft Security product knowledge
  • Test M365 Security and Azure Security solutions
  • Process optimization and technical standardization
  • Develop Playbooks
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders

The Person

You will be an enthusiastic team player who understands what needs to be done to provide outstanding service to our clients. Ideally you will have some experience with the Microsoft Security Suite, however, Engineers/System Administrators with strong Microsoft infrastructure and application management skills should apply.

You’ll have:

  • An understanding of Cybersecurity in an Operational or Professional Services environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Operational experience, Server & Infrastructure
  • Desktop Management and Support, focus on Microsoft Operating systems, User and Resource Management with AD & ADD, MECM/Intune.
  • Monitoring and Alerting Management, Central logging, Security tool configuration and management.
  • Event Management and Response experience.
  • Platform and Application Management - experience managing and maintaining business critical systems in a production environment using ITIL Processes.
  • Experience in Microsoft O365 Management
  • Experience in scripting, minimum PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps (Desirable)

Desirable Certifications include:

o MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration
o AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies
o SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to the nature of our clients, this role will require that you can pass New Zealand security clearance. You must hold either Permanent Residence/Citizenship and have been in New Zealand or its 5eyes counterparts at least 2 years.
