Job Description

Release engineering team is in charge of product infrastructure including build, continuous integration and source code management (gerrit) services, container registry etc. Release engineering team is looking for talented devsecops/security engineer with experience in secure development, coding, engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with other teams at Mirantis to provide recommendations and best practices to find and solve security vulnerabilities
• Design, evaluate,select and configure security infrastructure systems in a global environment
• Automate security controls
• Assess vulnerability impact on the product stack
• Assist with complex projects and ongoing support of security operations
• Build and configure delivery environments supporting CD/CI tools using an Agile delivery methodology
• Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks
• Work closely with development teams to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system
• Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Monitor and maintain all installed systems and infrastructure
• Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or devops/devsecops experience
• Design, implement, support and evaluate security-focused tools, vulnerable management tools and services. 
• Conduct periodic Vulnerability assessment. Participate in incident handling and other related duties to support the information security function. 
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing strategies;
• Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, logging;
• Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production;
• Cloud Security Certifications like AWS Certified Security Specialty is preferred. Industry recognized certification (CEH) is preferred. 
• Provides constructive feedback in a PR
• Strong Linux fundamentals and experience working with linux distributions.
• Compatible working with others on a common task in an Agile environment.
• Good communication skills, a sense of diplomacy, and a genuine eagerness to help others.
• Familiarity with test driven development (TDD).
• Deep understanding of software development automation tools (Jenkins, Gerrit, etc.)
