COO consists of 9 functions including: Satellite Operations, Network Operations, Service Assurance, Service Delivery Aviation and Customer Assurance, Service Delivery and Supply Chain, Project Management Office, Global Cyber Security and Group IT

Job Description

The individual will support project activities related to enhancing our Cloud Platforms and specifically M365 security capabilities that will improve security posture in readiness for enhancing and expanding the services offered by M365 within the organisation. The role is to bring knowledge and experience to develop the architecture and the hands on execution of tasks relating to the project.

The responsibilities included in this engagement are

• Implementation of Defender for Cloud Apps and conditional access to provide session based controls over devices be they fully Intune managed or not
• Implementation of Defender for Identity
• Implementation of Identity Protection
• Configuration of Defender for Cloud Apps to assess, monitor and control Cloud App usage within the business
• Configuration of Defender for Cloud Apps to control access from BYOD
• Configuration of Privileged Identity Management for improved governance, just in time access and automated access reviews
• Security focused assessment of Azure/M365 platform. Identification of opportunities to enhance the security posture and apply effective solutions in order to reduce risk.
• Deliver architectural artifacts through to implementation of governance Controls in line with Inmarsat Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure Standards.
• Architectural support for activities that enable Digital Workspace projects
• Operationalising of new capabilities including knowledge transfer, documentation and handover to our 3rd party partner who operate the tenant and support the end users
• As a risk reduction activity, implement capability to backup existing configuration and monitor configuration drifts within the M365 platform.

The candidate will need skills in

• M365 – E5, MCAS/Defender for Cloud Apps, AIP, Azure ATP, Secure Score, SIEM integration, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Federation, IDAM/Entra, Azure AD B2B, B2C
